What Commission Is An Audi Saleman Paid?

Travel nell'Amarone - Rocca Sveva - November 15, 2008 November

La Cantina di Soave proposed a tour to Discover the secrets of this great wine from Verona, from the beginning valuable to the label, the pursuit of pleasure and seduction of the senses of taste.

In practice it was a path that has been able to participate freely in and have had the opportunity to visit the center of Rocca Sveva and was able to visit the 400-meter underground tunnel of the Village.

enogolo The Swabian Castle of the Village, Mr.. Bertolazzi, gave a mini lesson on the production of Amarone: including the fact that the drying is done in factories Illasi. Then there was access to winery itself with the company's marketing manager, in a setting prepared for the occasion, with white candles and racks of drying to show work that is behind a large bottle.

In the midst of the galleries have been set up stalls to taste on the occasion of several national and foreign produced from this fine label for the year 2000, including the Great Gold Medal the Wine Award Vinitaly 2008, with the Trophy at the International Wine Challenge in London, and the Great Gold Medal at the Mundus Vini, Neustadt (Germany).

selection Sveva Rocca is the ultimate quality commitment undertaken by Cantina di Soave, which once again recognizes the desire to maintain local features while maintaining the characteristics relating to land and the vines with the dual objective of enhancing the product and territory.
The first selection is made on the ground to identify the best vineyards that a commission, created between winemakers and experts, periodically checks to determine when and how the collection and processing: in fact, only the best grapes of the members bestower of these are intended to produce high quality wines.
A project that qualifies for the members first selected, whose grapes are remunerated according high standards, awarding the decision to prefer quality to quantity, but argues that a broader objective of re-launch of wines from ancient tradition.

Since 2001, the prestigious selection ROCCA SVEVA is followed in all stages of production in the splendid setting of the historic winery Covergnino village in the hills of Soave Castle, which is an important destination for wine tourism.

amarone This has all the characteristics of his race:

GRAPES
L 'Amarone comes from grape varieties: Corvina Veronese
(Cruina or Corvina) 40 - 70%, Rondinella
20 to 40%, Molinara
5 to 25%.

Color: ruby \u200b\u200bred with garnet

Scents Nose: ripe fruit, black cherry and raspberry jam, tobacco, vanilla ...

It 's a round and smooth wine, ripe: good overall ...

What troubles me is that a wine typical of a certain area can be produced elsewhere with a little trick: in practice fruttai drying areas are rated to be regulated .... but the grapes are crushed and then fermented and bottled elsewhere!!

"Wild Strawberries" by Ingmar Bergman & "Deconstructing Harry" by Woody Allen

Any artist, during his training, is influenced by other artists who preceded him and hit him in some way, inspired and fascinated. Generally because the two artists have the same concept and vision of life, or because the style of one is reflected in the other's. That you can see the inspiration in their work, in his art that finds points of connection with the works of the other artist.

One of the most influential directors of the film Woody Allen is undoubtedly Ingmar Bergman, both visually, but also a philosophical and moral. For toghether the two authors is mainly the same approach to both death and God (Bergman more markedly) tried to ask questions and maybe even throw down some answers on the existence of God, on the path of man in Throughout its existence, and the close relationship between them and death. But the similarities between the two directors do not affect only the themes but also the visual staging. Especially for his most intimate and dramatic as "Interiors", "Another Woman," "Crimes and Misdemeanors" Allen moves the machine taken almost always held in mind the Swedish master. The work of Gordon Willis in "Interiors," recalls one lot of Sven Nikvist in many films of Bergman, and it is no coincidence that the same Nikvist was picked by Allen to photograph his "Another Woman," "Crimes and Misdemeanors "and" Celebrity "(as well as the short" Oedipus wreck "contained in the omnibus film" New York Stories ").

In this post I want to relate two movies "Deconstructing Harry" Allen and "Wild Strawberries" by Bergman both linked by a common denominator which is to travel as a means to explore themselves, and see how the two authors have used this same trick for different purposes. As I said, to tie the two films is the starting point. In both cases, the protagonist has to go to reach his old university to receive an important award. During the trip will be to find out more about their lives and understand himself better. In Bergman's films the protagonist is Isak Borg, a retired senior doctor in that part of the car in the company and daughter of a trio of young people cross the street.

Borg at the beginning of his journey is a man alone in feeling cold, cynical and selfish, as you apparently believe a kind and understanding. The film opens with a dream had by Borg at night. A dream of deserted streets, clocks without hands, without unuomo face that dissolves in blood and sand and into a hearse with the coffin containing the body of lying Borg. A dream that would indicate the loneliness of the protagonist and the end is getting closer, of his days. With the awareness of having arrived at the end of his life, Borg real journey through this to the university, takes a journey through the memories, visit the "Wild Strawberries" and directly transported through the dream in the days of his childhood, which almost like Doctor Scrooge of "A Christmas Carol" finds out what he really, with his behavior has left the people who loved him.

The Harry Allen is a rather writer's block in full. Also "Deconstructing Harry" story begins with the application. In this case instead of a dream is an excerpt from the last novel by the writer. A story that anticipates (in key funny) the interest of Harry in-law. Sister in law who really breaks soon after at his house, gun in hand, shocked to discover in the novel as Harry has told their story secret. So we discover that Harry Block is a cynical, selfish, alcoholic, and whores. But most importantly it is a creative writer in crisis, no longer able to bring order to their lives after the woman he loves has left him for his best friend. The journey by car with his young son, a friend and a prostitute, becomes here not only a physical journey to the university, but a journey into himself. Unlike of "Wild Strawberries" is Harry's journey into his past, but in the recent past, which nearly coincides with his current life is a journey, and especially not in dreams or memories, but a trip in his stories. During the film we see representations of short stories written by Harry, who often are nothing more than metaphors of his life. Fragments of its allegorical character, their relationships, their inner conflict.

The two trips are the two players to better understand themselves. But with different purposes. Sergio Borg wrote that the settlement is a story of conversion. At the end of the film (and travel) Isak Borg really understand who he is and what he did, the way he treated his wife, his conviction of being "dead while being alive" and the negative influence it has had to his son, now a poor imitation. At the end of his days, a few steps away from his parents who look at the lake in the afterlife, Borg convert, admitted his sins and repent of his behavior. Harry creates order rather fragmented pieces of his life and realizes that his life is so troubled and confused, as his art is rather bright, orderly and creative. Harry does not convert, but understands that in reality, in the real world he is not able to function, it is not capable of living in harmony with others and be happy. It manages to be only in his stories, freely manipulating the fantasy world of her stories and giving happiness and fun thanks to his art.

The two honors that people receive are a bit 'as the turning point (for Borg is a goal) that leads them to look back and wonder "I came this far, I must have done something good. But I did everything as I should? " "I have regrets? In my work, in my private life, there is something wrong?". The answers to both, are: No, I did everything as I had and yes, I have more than one thing to regret.

While Borg now no choice but to "convert" and live his days in peace, Harry rationalizes that her life has no way to settle down, if not through his novels, his art. The Arts as a way to express yourself. Through her, Harry manages to be more true than it is in real life.

The interesting thing is that Woody Allen, knowing "Wild Strawberries," he unconsciously chose to use the same narrative trick used by Bergman, and then develop his style throughout its history, made up of neurosis, betrayal, sentimental plots and escape from their responsibilities. But in both cases there is a rather negative man. Isak Borg and Harry Block, men are put in front of their own lives and their own faults. Borg is not so hard to imagine getting into that leads to hell, or Harry to wander through the empty streets with no time clocks.

Fake North Face Backpack

"The Big Sleep" by Howard Hawks

This is a thriller where we do not give a bat to know who the murderess. As the story goes, we do not care to know at the end who or what is behind the set of plots and mysteries of which Marlowe should wrap. Eventually, someone, as in the novel, remains unsolved even.
do not care nothing for two reasons. First, because these mysteries and those plots are too tangled to be able to figure it out. Second, because there is something more interesting to follow. There are the characters.
If you watch "The Grenda sleep" dozens of times, even if you pay attention to history, at some point we end up getting lost. We get lost to follow Bogart, his gestures, his jokes, sly that air of one who knows everything in the world. Follow his squabbles with Bacall (or other women). His repartee with the gangsters who from time to time to shoot the captain. Stop completely because of interest in yellow we are witnessing the birth of a myth. And everything takes a back seat. More than in Casablanca, in which Hawks noir Bogart is Bogart in his whole style.
characterization that Bogart did his Philippe Marlowe is extraordinary. It is really about the birth of a symbol, an icon, a unique character that can only be trademark style. From this film onwards born behavior "to Bogart," to be clear what upsets Sam by Woody Allen in "Play It Again Sam," that when you ask "How do you want the Brandy?" you answered "In glass".
- you do not have the air of collecting rare books. (Tells the blonde bibbliotecaria)
- I also collect blondes under glass.
Taxi
- Where do we go?
- We follow that car. Do you mind?
- I'm all yours.
- were true.
Marlowe and Carmen
- You are smart. I like you.
- And this is nothing. Wait till you see the dancer in Bali that I tattooed on his back.
Nobel laureate William Faulkner, author of the script (obviously on the novel by Chandler) and Howard Hawks are able to create a noir unforgettable. One of the rare examples where even if the plot does not capture how we should manage to keep us glued to the screen attracted by the magic of Humphrey Bogart and close dialogue and pungent.

Horse Carriage Ride Swanston St

When I look into your eyes I can see

a love restrained But darlin 'When I hold you Do not you
Know I Feel The Same

Nothin 'lasts forever
And We Both Know Hearts Can Change
And it's hard to hold a candle
In the cold November rain

We've been through this such a long long time
Just tryin' to kill the pain

But lovers always come and lovers always go
An no one's really sure who's lettin' go today
Walking away

If we could take the time
to lay it on the line
I could rest my head
Just knowin' that you were mine
All mine
So if you want to love me
then darlin' don't refrain
Or I'll just end up walkin'
In the cold November rain

Do you need some time...on your own
Do you need some time...all alone
Everybody needs some time...
on their own
Don't you know you need some time...all alone

I know it's hard to keep an open heart
When even friends seem out to harm you
But if you could heal a broken heart
Wouldn't time be out to charm you

Sometimes I need some time...on my
own
Sometimes I need some time...all alone
Everybody needs some time...
on their own
Don't you know you need some time...all alone

And when your fears subside
And shadows still remain
I know that you can love me
When there's no one left to blame
So never mind the darkness
We still can find a way
Nothin' lasts forever
Even cold November rain

Don't ya think that you need somebody
Do not ya think That you need someone Everybody needs somebody

're not the only one You're not the only one

But back to my favorite topics ...

as every month I suggest a visit among the market stalls, always loosely based on my usual site of trust .....

Physalis or chichingero
It 's a poorly preserved fruit. It is eaten fresh, straight from the protective glass. You can dry in a moderate oven and store in closed containers and dark.

Oranges
If the pulp is dry, it means that have been kept for too long, whether it is acid means the ripening of the fruit did not occur naturally. In a cool, remain one week.

Avocado
to buy not yet fully mature, to let it at room temperature. It is eaten when it is soft but not soft.

Cachi
If you buy the unripe fruit, place them on a tray and store in a dry place without light up at the right ripeness. If you buy them ripe, put them in the least cold of the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Chestnuts Chestnuts can be kept in a cool, dry place for a couple of months. If the first cooked and peeled, you can also freeze. In this way they last 6 months.

Kiwi
If purchased green, leave it in the refrigerator in a closed bag, preferably with another fruit. When it is too ripe, it tastes bad.

mandarin oranges or clementines
born from a cross between the mandarin and orange. The flavor is sweet and the flesh is seedless. Purchase must be intact and firm, not soft.

Pere
If mature (the pulp is soft under a light finger pressure) are kept in the refrigerator for a week. If unripe, should be left at room temperature.

Grapefruit
What this in our markets is mainly imported. It keeps well, so it is readily available throughout the year, also in pink variant

and then the vegetables ......

Broccoli
You can keep hanging upside down in a cool place or refrigerator for several days. Alternatively, you can freeze them cooked.

Artichoke
This vegetable, when cooked, it should be consumed within a short time, while crude can be stored in the refrigerator for 4 / 5 days.

thistle or cardoon
of this vegetable is eaten the stem, and fleshy flavor similar to artichokes. It is preserved in a refrigerator for a week in a plastic bag with small holes.

Cauliflower Cauliflower, very compact in the flesh, keeps well in refrigerator up to five days, without dark spots.

Chicory Cutting
purchasing the heads are compact, the leaves yellowed or blackened at the edges. If in a container, make sure that is not too wet.

Fennel
Put them in bags with small holes no larger green ribs: in this way are kept in a cool place for about ten days. You can also freeze them, after they are boiled.

endive
more the color of the leaves is dark, it should be eaten first. Often, endive, if kept for too long, they become bitter.

Lettuce Brazilian (or iceberg), Roman, curly, cut, curly, kind, red cabbage: the varieties are many. It is kept in the refrigerator for no longer than two days, already cleaned, washed and dried.

sweet peppers

acquisition appear firm, without soft parts and lively color. Keep in the refrigerator for a few days, but not freeze it. Last month I saw a recipe on TV and I tried it soon after, take the peppers and open to foot, stuffed with olives, capers, and a filet of tomato, one anchovy, and then dusted with bread crumbs and go in the oven ... delicious!!

Leek
Eliminate the hardest part of the leaves, clean and dry. So you can keep them long in the refrigerator sealed in plastic bags perforated slightly, to make me crazy once I used them for a harness filet of salmon baked and then steamed ....

Radicchio

Spinach
is kept in the refrigerator for 2-3 days in sealed plastic bags, if already washed and dried. You can freeze already cooked and drained, although I prefer them raw seasoned with apples and walnuts or pine nuts and pomegranate.

Pumpkin
If preserved whole and in a cool, pumpkin will keep for months. Once cut, you can store in the refrigerator for up to one week, last week I made a compote with ginger and pumpkin ... I open the jar and tell you how
